Le Musée

Come and visit the amazing wine-related objects collected by Alexandre Gautherin,
a winemaker in Chablis

A long-standing admirer of antiques as well as ancient tools and equipment, Alexandre Gautherin started his collection at a young age. The Vinéa Passion museum invites visitors to learn more about the wine heritage of Chablis. It showcases know-how and objects used in viticulture and winemaking and details how wine-growing practices have evolved over the years.

A look back over the vineyard traditions of Chablis

Occupying a vast 700m2 building, the museum takes visitors on a journey through time, presenting the traditional practices used in the vineyards of Chablis. Of particular interest is a collection of glasses from every Saint-Vincent Tournante wine festival since 1983.
The museum also presents a grafting workshop, a model of the various soils found in the vineyards, exhibitions of winegrowers’ tools, frost protection equipment, and so on.

There is also a play area for children with a seating area and games.
